A message from Woodhull Alumna and stand-up comedian, Karith Foster:

I have some SUPER COOL news. Comedy Central is seriously considering me for my half-hour special (finally!!!) but they need to see a tape of my latest and greatest stand-up. So I am producing a show to get a DVD to send on to them. Because this came together quickly I have to get them a DVD quickly so this is all happening next Saturday 8/14 at 9:30pm at the Metropolitan Room on 34 W.22nd btwn 5th & 6th….This is still going to be a REAL comedy show with some of my favorite comics opening for me then I will be headlining it. Normally they charge $20 per ticket, I was able to get the cover to $10. I care more about having people I love in the audience for this special night than making any money.
