FEATURED STORY: “The End of Men”?

Writer Hanna Rosin argues in The Atlantic, that the ‘age of men’ is coming to an end, that it is no longer more desirable to have male children or even to be a man.  It seems, from her analysis, that it is more pragmatic to be a woman in today’s economy and in the future of the global community.  Although there continue to be alarming gaps and favoritism for the male sex, itcan be argued that society is changing, being a woman is a powerful. Rosin’s article is at the very least, incredibly thought provoking.  Read Article Here
In a critique of Rosin’s article, an Op-Ed piece in the New York Times agrees that there is a definite change in the role of women and composition of the American economy and society.  However, the article asks us to not to see this change as the ‘end of men,’ but as the beginning of a time where there is true equality between the sexes.  Read Article Here
