Do I need to submit an application to attend a Woodhull retreat?

Woodhull’s Young Women’s Leadership Retreats are open to women who have shown leadership potential. All applications are reviewed by a committee of the organization. Recommendations are extremely important. After your application is reviewed you will be notified of the committee’s decision.

What is an alumna of Woodhull?

An alumna is someone who has completed a Woodhull retreat training program. Alumnae of the organization become part of the larger Woodhull community. The alumnae participate in Woodhull’s mentoring program, list serv communication network, advanced trainings and weekly updates. They can access the broader Woodhull community for assistance with the projects that they are working on.

Why should I become a member of Woodhull?

Answer: Woodhull’s community of members is dedicated to supporting the organization and its’ work. Membership donations are utilized for scholarship and programming purposes only. Members receive various benefits including discounts to Woodhull events.

Do I have to be a member or an alumna of the organization to enroll in a course, attend a social event or a dinner seminar?

No, we welcome all interested women to these events. It is a great way to begin to get to know the organization.

What are Woodhull Fellows? How are they chosen?

Woodhull understands that all issues are women’s issues. Therefore, Woodhull Fellows are experts in various fields. Fellows are chosen by a committee of the organization. Nominations may be submitted at info@woodhull.org.

If I attend a retreat do I choose which modules I take?

No, you will be attending every module. Retreat registration is limited so that all participants take every module and work together throughout the weekend.
