April 8-10, 2011
Our Alumnae Retreat is only for women who have attended one of Woodhull’s previous retreats: Ethical Leadership, Non-Fiction Writers’, Master Class Writers’, Ldor v’dor, or other programming.
NY Retreat Facility: The Woodhull Retreat Center, Ancramdale, NY (2-1/2 hours north of New York City) in the beautiful Berkshire Mountain region.
Alumnae are invited back to enjoy our beautiful retreat center. Come join us at Woodhull’s Alumnae Weekend, January 14-16, 2011 in Ancramdale, NY. We invite the Woodhull community to reconnect with alumnae, members, and faculty and celebrate each other in an amazing weekend. Share thoughts, brainstorm ideas, work on your latest project and garner support from other Woodhull women! Enjoy the comforts of our beautiful home, eat delicious meals and relax at the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains. Light workshops will be provided.
Alumnae are welcome to use this weekend to simply relax and connect with other Woodhull Women. However, we will provide light programming throughout the weekend:
In our economic climate, knowing what you need and how to ask for it is a must! Whether you are thinking about asking for a raise, or you want to brush up on your salary negotiation skills for upcoming interviews. Or perhaps you are thinking about buying that apartment, house, car, etc. and want to have a confident stance. Negotiation skills are an invaluable asset in today’s market– so bring any issues with you as Woodhull’s Wende Jager-Hyman will work one on one to help strengthen your negotiation skills! If you’ve attended our Leadership retreats, this is a fantastic add on to our original negotiation module.
We encourage you to bring your current written project to work on. We will facilitate peer review sessions and group feedback.
Present-Your-Own Workshop: Have a presentation you’d like to share with our community? Need practice presenting your topic of expertise? Contact us at RMarcus@woodhull.org to present on our Alumnae Retreat!
